Speculation&Trivia

This Pin is the strongest -in terms of progression and Attack- out of the second most powerful Energy Rounds group of Pins in the Natural Puppy brand. Its mechanic, however, is a mixed blessing: its "spray" means that every slash will produce four bullets, but these are not only rather small, even in comparison to the other Energy Rounds Pins, but spread even further than more conventional three-way bullets. On a good note, the Pins Limit is of eight sprays, meaning there is a 1:1 ratio between slashes and sprays, giving it a good longevity and manageability. All in all, it can be considered a low-end Class A Pin.

Due to the above reasons, it is advised to utilise it either very close to the enemy, so to maximise its effects, or into a group of them.

As with other Magnum Pins, it is assumed that such name refers to their shooting rounds like a Magnum firearm: similarly to the other two Pins in this group (One Love Magnum and Hounder Magnum respectively), there is a bird in flight over an artificial path of transportation -in this case, it looks like an eagle over a highway, or another type of automobile road, and although it is arguable that the railway present on the Hounder Magnum would provide more speed, the presence of the strongest bird out of the three (in terms of it being the strongest predator, hence the most likely to win in a fight between them), coupled with the possibility of great speeds on a highway, clearly shows that this is meant to be the strongest one out of them. TO further mirror an eagles abilities, the highway has a curving aspect to it, suggesting that the eagle is soaring at great heights above it.

Still, the name Bear Hug is quite puzzling, and it is very difficult to surmise what it has to do with the Pin: it could be a reference to the Pins supposedly overwhelming strength and barrage of hits, it could be a reference to a band, person, institution, or the like known by a Developer, or it could simply be a name which has a good ring to it.
