Each pin that Neku equips has a certain psych. These determine what type of attack or ability the pin provides. The four affinities are:
- Positive: Melee attacks
- Negative: Ranged attacks
- Neutral: Deal normal damage to all Noise
- Ability: In-direct damage or effects
Psych Activation
- A = automatic
- B = touch the pin
- C = circle
- D = drag
- H = scratch
- M = microphone
- P = press
- R = rapid-tap
- S = slash
- T = touch
