 Speculation & Trivia
This Pin is the strongest -in terms of progression- out of the weakest Energy Rounds group of Pins in the Natural Puppy brand. Interestingly, it is not the strongest in terms of Attack: even its Value is 100 yen lower than the previous one in the group. Theoretically, it is its unusual mechanic that makes it more powerful -in practice, however, this is not the case.
The fragmenting bullet consists of around ten small spheres propagating away from the point of origin in a fan-like pattern, essentially "fanning out" from the origin: this is produced with each slash, for a total of five per Boot. The shots can easily cover all of the lower screen when they are fully fanned out, and all five slashes together produce great saturation: in most cases, an orb will hit the enemy twice. Unfortunately, the shots are stopped upon hitting something: if, for example, a Noise is right in front of Neku, all shots will be absorbed by that one Noise. Further, only one hit will be registered, with all the rest wasted: additionally, the Puck requires multiple hits before being passed, the Limit is low, the Reboot not that good, and if the distance is too great the resulting hits will be few. It all adds up to a high-end Class C Pin.
Its interesting mechanic makes it best suited as a preemptive strike -utilised at least at medium range from the enemy, saturating the whole area with all five slashes, then moving to another Pin.
Similarly to the other three Pins in this group (Happy Beam, Natural Magnum and Wonder Magnum respectively), a rather abstract pattern is displayed on it: as with the others, it can be assumed that such refers to how the Pin's psych displays during combat. In this case, the reference is quite obvious: the shots propagating from the origin and fanning out, which is reproduced on the Pin. The "Launcher" part of the name most likely refers to mechanisms similar to a Rocket Launcher: not only do they both shoot a type of projectile which fragments in one way or another, but they both start out slow upon ejection, to then speed up as they propagate outwards. The term "Beauty" is harder to connect: considering this group of Pins supports abstract designs, it could refer to the patterns artistic beauty, or it could be for fitting with the general theme of the Natural Puppy brand names, which inspire cuddly and loving feelings (One Love Magnum and Sweet Talk Tether being prime examples), or for some other unknown reason.
